Lifestyle Labs are small communities of people within our larger community. Sometimes they are made up of folks from The Well who study the bible together or plan events for our Gatherings. Sometimes they are started by members of The Well as a building block community, usually based on recreation or special interests. These Labs may have people of all sorts in them and are just for building relationships and fellowshipping together. We call them Lifestyle Labs because they are just that: practical labs for daily life. We believe that "the Earth is the Lords and everything in it," so living in Him is a matter of finding His presence in everything that we do. So, we do things, and we look for Him, and we enjoy the life He gave us and each other along the way.

Firefly Lab

Andy and Velma Metz will be hosting a Firefly watching party at their house every Tues. evening at 8 p.m.  The group will watch 1 -2 episodes every Tuesday and work through the series, in order, and then end with the movie.  Please email Velma so she can give you the pertinent details (directions, snack choices,etc).  You are encouraged to bring friends to come hang and enjoy one of the best shows ever to be cancelled.

Party Labs

Yeah, we like to party! Party Labs can involve anything from hanging out at someone’s house, an Alamo Draft House sing-along, Karaoke, movie night, tailgating, game night...basically anything that gives us an excuse to spend time together. And you get to decide “where da party at?” If you would like to host a party: pick a month that is not already listed, and choose a date (we suggest leaving at least a week or two between each party). Come up with something to do...and remember, there’s no pressure to put a lot of work into it. We just wanna party. To sing up email Jack Burton or call him at 512.563.6983.

Regional Core Labs

The RCL’s are small communities within our community dedicated to fellowship, prayer and study of the Bible with a strong emphasis on spiritual formation and growth. They are discussion oriented and a great way to get to know what we are about.

There are currently three Core Labs meeting throughout the week.

CL-South Austin meets at Randy and Melissa Adams's house. Meeting time is 7:30pm. For more info email Randy Adams

Kid’s Lab

The Kid’s Lab is a growing community for our children. Its emphasis is learning the Bible and how to live it in real life. In the near future, Kid’s Lab will be taking field trips to various places for fun and hands on learning experiences. It’s about God in the real world and learning to play at life. Kid's Lab meets at 10:30 a.m., Sunday mornings at The Carpenter's Hall.

Woman’s Lab

The Women's Lab is a crossover Lab. It falls in three different categories: Spiritual Development, Recovery, and Educator. It is designed to move our ladies towards their own Freedom and Restoration and to teach them to lead others. The Women's Lab is currently having a bimonthly get together at the Adams' Residence
